About Paddock Paths
Paddock Paths started with a simple question: why is it so hard for American students to find information about Formula 1 career paths? As a Formula SAE alum researching opportunities, the founder discovered a wealth of resources for European students but a striking lack of guidance tailored to Americans. This clear problem became apparent—American students interested in Formula 1 careers simply don’t have access to the resources readily available to their European peers.
This notable disparity inspired the creation of a resource specifically for American students navigating their way toward motorsport careers. Formula SAE and similar collegiate competitions provide excellent foundations, but information on translating these experiences into international motorsport opportunities has been limited.
Paddock Paths aims to demystify the journey from American educational institutions and internships to the Formula 1 paddock. The goal is simple: to ensure that talented, passionate American students have the resources they need to turn their Formula 1 dreams into achievable career paths, regardless of which side of the Atlantic they call home.
